"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
We are not immune to the daily challenges of living in a broken and fallen world. Some know those challenges more accutely and need the support of others to walk through them. Rivermont has several support groups that are aimed at providing the needed support to walk through some of life's greatest challenges, like the loss of a loved one, caring for an aging parent or a special needs family member. We are committed to providing a safe place for you to not only receive care but also give care to others.
Caregivers' Support Group
Our Caregivers' Support Group provides support and care for those who are serving as caregivers for an aging or chronically ill family member. This group provides an opportunity to discuss the challenges of caregiving as well as explore healthy practices of caring for the caregiver.
The Caregivers' Support group is led by Pastor Emeritus Lowell Sykes and Linda Paulson. They meet on the last Monday of each month at 11:15am in Room 206. Download a building map. For more information, contact Linda Paulson.
