The transition from children’s ministry to youth ministry isn’t necessarily an easy one though it can certainly be an exciting one. To make that transition easier for sixth graders and earlier for fifth graders, we created Club 56.
Each week, Club 56 meets on Sunday mornings 9:45-10:40am as part of Sunday School in Room 207. Here is what Club 56 will study this year.
- How Majestic Is Your Name leb by Brian Nash, Treasa Plude, and Marc Jantomaso: The names of God in the Bible are a reflection of His character, which is so glorious that He cannot be described by a single name. His character is communicated in hundreds of names progressively revealed in the Bible. But the focus of How Majestic Is Your Name is not the many names, titles and references to God. These are merely the structure to show the greatness of our God. Each lesson will present glorious truths about God and encourages students to see and rejoice in His goodness and greatness.
They also meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm as part of Rivermont Fellowship Night in Room 207 where they enjoy fun, games, and the importance of memorizing God’s Word. Students will spend two weeks on each verse and learn how the Word of God can encourage, strengthen, and comfort their souls.
Club 56'ers will have a special event planned that they can participate in once a quarter.
