The transition from children’s ministry to youth ministry isn’t necessarily an easy one though it can certainly be an exciting one. To make that transition easier for sixth graders and earlier for fifth graders, we created Club 56.

Each week, Club 56 meets on Sunday mornings 9:45 am - 10:40 am as part of Sunday School in Room 207.

This is what Club 56 will study this year: My Purpose Will Stand led by Brian Nash, Treasa Plude, and Ross Meyer: God is present and active in the world, orchestrating all things to serve His eternal purposes. All His purposes are good and right and are accomplished with perfection. Students will learn as the Sovereign Creator of the world, God has the right, power, wisdom, and righteousness to rule the universe.

They also meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm as part of Rivermont Fellowship Night in Room 207 where they enjoy fun, games, and the importance of memorizing God’s Word. Students will spend two weeks on each verse and learn how the Word of God can encourage, strengthen, and comfort their souls.

Club 56'ers will have a special event planned that they can participate in once a quarter.
