"Prayer does not fit us for the greater work, it is the greater work." Oswald Chambers
Rivermont seeks to provide multiple opportunities for God's people to gather in prayer to ask God to bring about the personal and corporate renewal and revival we need as a church and country.
We gather at 8 a.m. in the Family Room (just off the Cheatham Center) to pray for those leading and participating in the morning worship services (Note: this is not being held in light of the current pandemic)
We gather at 4 p.m. in the Chapel each week to pray through the morning sermon text using the ACTS model. This hour-long prayer service is led by the pastors. (Note: this prayer service happens via Zoom. Click here for the link.
We gather on Monday mornings at 10 a.m. in the John Knox Room for a time of fellowship and prayer as we pray using the ACTS model. (Note: this is not being held at the church but members are praying in their homes on Mondays at 10am. Email Susan Pettyjohn to receive the prayer guide each week.)
On the first Tuesday of the month, we gather at noon in the Chapel for a time of prayer and fasting. Each month, we have a theme that guides our hour-long prayer time. This prayer service is led by the pastors. (Note: this prayer service happens via Zoom. Click here for the link.
