"Prayer does not fit us for the greater work, it is the greater work." Oswald Chambers
Rivermont seeks to provide multiple opportunities for God's people to gather in prayer to ask God to bring about the personal and corporate renewal and revival we need as a church and country.
We gather at 8 a.m. in the Family Room (just off the Cheatham Center) to pray for those leading and participating in the morning worship services.
We gather at 4 p.m. in the Chapel each week to pray through the morning sermon text using the ACTS model. This hour-long prayer service is led by the pastors.
We gather on Monday mornings at 10 a.m. in Room 206 for a time of fellowship and prayer as we pray using the ACTS model.
On the first Tuesday of the month, we gather at noon in the Chapel for a time of prayer and fasting. Each month, we have a theme that guides our hour-long prayer time. This prayer service is led by the pastors. (This corporate time of prayer is paused for the summer but will resume on September 6)
