Sunday FAQ

When are REPC's Sunday services?
We have two identical Sunday services at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Where is REPC located?
REPC is west of downtown Lynchburg just before you get to Randolph College.
Our address is 2424 Rivermont Avenue.

Where do I park?
We have reserved parking for our visitors, expectant and new mothers as well as handicap and walking impaired on the side parking lot of the church building.  If you enter from the Rivermont Avenue entrance, those parking spaces can be found on the right.  If you enter from the Quinlan Street entrance, those parking spaces can be found on the left just around the circular drive.  Additionally, there are handicap/walking impaired parking spaces right as you enter from the Quinlan Street entrance on the right.

What should I wear to Sunday services?
Dress in whatever is most comfortable to you. While some will be in coat-and-tie or dresses, others will be dressed more casually.  We believe that God-pleasing worship places the emphasis on what's in a person's heart rather than a person's appearance.

Will I fit in at REPC?
We are a multi-generational church desiring to create hospitable and relationally engaging places of belonging for every type of person. Whatever your educational, political, social, economical, marital, racial or cultural background, we want REPC to be a safe place where you can grow in your knowledge of God and His grace in Christ Jesus as well as the life that He calls us to live in relationship to one another, our city and world.

How often does REPC celebrate the Lord’s Supper?
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper in both morning worships services on the first Sunday of the month. We serve Gluten-free bread exclusively.

Can my child receive the Lord's Supper?
Only baptized children who have made a profession of faith in Jesus may receive the Lord's Supper.  If you are interested in your child receiving the Lord's Supper, please download the Children's Communion Packet and work through it with your child. Once you have completed the packet and feel your child is ready to move forward, please contact Janet Freshour and she will schedule an appointment for you and your child to meet with one of our Pastors. During that meeting the pastor will look to discern a profession of faith in Jesus as well as an understanding of communion.
