Communion is one of the great gifts to the church as it offers a visible picture of the covenant relationship between God and his people.

We believe that the Lord's Supper (Communion) is reserved for those baptized members who have made a credible profession of faith in Christ.  If you have a child that desires to take communion, the first step is to download the Children's Communion Packet and work through it with him or her. Once you have completed the packet and feel your child is ready to move forward, please contact Janet Freshour and she will schedule an appointment for you and your child to meet with one of our Pastors. During that meeting the pastor will look to discern a profession of faith in Jesus as well as an understanding of communion.  Following their recommendation, the Session will formally admit your child to the Communion Table, so they may begin to take the Lord's Supper.
