We need you!

Mission Thrift (the thrift store we opened in partnership with Sports Outreach Institute) is open next week (Dec 27-30) after Christmas, and we need volunteers to help sort donations and put them on the floor!

This is a great way for church members to serve local populations this Christmas (and for families to serve together!).

Mission Thrift  - is a new collaborative sustainable thrift store that is opening on Bedford Avenue supported by Freedom 424 and Sports Outreach.  Mission Thrift Store fuels non-profits within our community that serve vulnerable populations and communities.

God has been so faithful and has put every piece together to make this vision possible. Our prayer is that MT is more than a thrift store, but a place where people feel safe, share their stories, and simply enjoy shopping. He has continued to answer that prayer week after week as people walk through our doors.  

Our biggest need right now is volunteers in January! We have a lot of donations that continue to come in and we need volunteers to help sort, tag, and put them on the floor. We've made it really easy to sign up to volunteer.

themissionthrift.org/volunteer takes you to a website with available shifts. You can volunteer as an individual or sign up as a team. 

(All volunteers get a 15% discount to shop at the end of their shift)
