Bridges to Progress Event featuring Bethany Harrison
REPC is deeply engaged in renewing and reweaving the fabric of our city in a number of ways as a church collectively, but also as a church individually. One of those individuals engaged in that work is REPC member, Bethany Harrison, who serves as the Commonwealth Attorney.
Bethany will be the featured speaker for an event that is part of a larger dialog on reducing poverty in Lynchburg through justice reform. This event, which is sponsored by the Bridges to Progress Legal Systems Task Force, will take place on Thursday, March 12th from 6:30 to 8:30pm here at Rivermont EPC.
Bethany will discuss her background as a prosecutor, what brought her to Lynchburg, how her faith informs her criminal justice work, and the challenges that Lynchburg legal systems face today.
Please RSVP by March 6th to Josh Quintero, who is the Rivermont EPC member sponsor, at (434) 851-4668 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
