Reservations must be made by noon on the Monday prior to the luncheon. Reservations can be made online, by signing up on the bulletin board beside the church Library, or by calling the church office at 846-3441. Please visit our 60-Somethings page for more information about this ministry.
When we hear the word "meditation" we often think of a Buddhist monk sitting cross-legged in a far off temple or maybe a new-age yoga class aimed at mindfulness and health. Yet meditation has been a central aspect of Christian spiritual practice and in particular Reformed Christian spirituality. Calvin and the Puritans have much to teach us about this vital Christian discipline and its place in our devotional life. Come hear Pastor Weber share from his doctoral studies on the history and practice of Christian meditation and see how it could help you to continue to grow in your walk with Christ.
