Coronavirus Update #24 (December 21, 2021)

Dear Rivermont Family and Friends,
This Friday, we look forward to three Christmas Eve services in which we will worship the newborn King. Please carefully read the following information outlining the various service options.
5:00 PM Family Worship Service
This service is especially for families with young children. Nursery, for infants 5 months to 3 years old, is available. Face masks are optional for this service.
7:00 PM Worship Service
Communion will be served in our traditional fashion. Overflow seating will be available in the John Knox Room. The prelude will begin at 6:40 PM. Nursery, for infants 5 months to 3 years old, is available. Face masks are optional for this service.
9:00 PM Worship Service
Communion will be served in the sealed communion cups placed on each pew. The prelude will begin at 8:40 PM. Face masks are required for this service.
Livestream
Livestream will begin at 6:40 PM for the 7:00 PM worship service and will be available on demand following this service through our YouTube channel. If you are experiencing any Covid symptoms or have a known exposure, please join us through our livestream option.
Parking and Our Neighbors
With the blessings of wondrous attendance during worship services, one practical challenge is parking. We occasionally block a neighbor’s driveway or damage a yard. Memphis Avenue, which runs parallel to Rivermont Avenue has become a concern. Graciously, Randolph College allows use of three parking lots: Maier Museum and the Upper Gym lot (accessed from Quinlan) and the Lower Gym Lot (accessed from Norfolk Avenue). Please show love to our neighbors by parking in these designated areas.
May the Lord bless you and keep you this Christmas season!
