With our commitment to Jesus Christ and His word, we steady ourselves to live for His glory and our spiritual renewal. Even when we need encouragement to face the challenges of life, the Lord provides His grace and strength to cause us to walk in His love with one another.

There is much to prize in this Psalm. There is the honesty of Asaph that characterizes much of the Psalms. There is the ability to articulate not only the struggle but also the “solution” to that struggle.

This coming Lord’s Day, we continue in our sermon series on the book of Colossians. As we examine verses 24-26 from chapter 1, we see the importance of getting Jesus right. Seeing Jesus as our supreme and sufficient, creator, redeemer and head of the church is vital when we face suffering.
