Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Preschool is a religious
exempt child care program recognized by the state of Virginia
and complies with state requirements for a program exempt from
licensure.
We operate with four classrooms
and a fenced in playground for outdoor play. Our teachers have
degrees in education or are well-trained through experience and
staff development. Also, our staff has been certified by their
physicians to be healthy and free from communicable diseases.
Our program is covered by the liability insurance of Rivermont
Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Our program operates with strict standards of health and safety.
There is always a person on site trained in infant/child CPR and
first aid. Children enrolled in our program have provided
documentation of up-to-date immunization records complying with
the State Board of Health immunization requirements for school
entrance.
Weather Closings: Rivermont Preschool observes the Lynchburg
City Schools' closing and late opening schedule. Tune into local
television or radio for this information.

When Lynchburg Schools have a one hour delay our school will
also observe a one hour delay.
